Obligatory Inner Registration
Foreigners visiting Belarus must register within a period of 3 working days in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. If a foreigner lives in a hotel its administration will make registration for him, but if he wants to live at his acquaintances or rent an apartment he should apply within 3 working days after arrival to Belarus to Ministry of Internal Affairs.
To register it is needed:
- medical insurance
- contract on renting an apartment (for those who rent an apartment),
- apartment's owner with the passport,
- xerocopy of the passport of a foreign citizen with visa and photo
- payment for registration.
Exit permits required for all foreigners intending to leave the country with expired visas. They are issued by Minsk city passport and visa office or Regional passport and visa offices in Grodno, Brest, Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel.
